Unqueued shows posts that are meant to publish through the Posting Plan but do not currently have a route into active publishing. In this chapter, you’ll learn what causes posts to become unqueued, how to identify the missing path, and what to do next.

When content is ready in principle but has no active route into the Posting Plan, Unqueued is where it appears.
Unqueued shows posts that are set to publish through the Posting Plan, but currently have no Timeslot available for their Category-and-Social-Profile combination.
The content is still there, and it is still intended for active publishing. But because SmarterQueue does not currently have a matching Timeslot for that publishing path, it does not know when to place the post into Upcoming.
Used well, Unqueued helps you spot structural gaps in your publishing setup before good content gets left outside the active flow.
Unqueued is not a content-quality problem by default. It is where SmarterQueue shows posts that are ready to publish through the Posting Plan, but do not currently have a matching Timeslot path.
The more clearly you understand how Unqueued works, the easier it becomes to fix missing publishing paths without making unnecessary changes to the content itself.
