Once your publishing system is running, Upcoming is where you review the content that is currently on its way out.
Upcoming is the part of the Queue that shows posts currently lined up to publish in the future.
It includes content that is actively on its way out, whether that content was scheduled automatically through the Posting Plan or manually for a specific date and time. It can also include recurring and evergreen content, but only the next upcoming iteration is shown in the Queue at a time.
Used well, Upcoming helps you see what is actively moving toward publication and review whether the schedule ahead looks balanced, relevant, and ready to go live.
Upcoming is not just a list of future posts. It is a live view of the content that currently has an active route to publication.
